For me, there is nothing that says ‘tattoo’ more than a panther with roses and I decided to do a painting of one. I did it in black and grey but with a yellow background…I guess its because I love the Pittsburgh Steelers!
I am selling the original painting on my web store if anyone is interested.

This is a sleeve I’ve been working on that’s a little more than half finished. We are not going with any cut off boundaries in case he wants extensive work; also, probably going to add a koi or koi dragon to the forearm. I’m usually not in favor of putting every color of the rainbow in one tattoo, but somehow it works with this one…..I think it’s because of the olive green for the scales (my favorite dragon color).

My mother has been working on a series of paintings based on icebergs and I really love these! It is also great that I have one of my favorites hanging in my home (thanks mom!). She has always been very supportive of my artistic development, and I am truly indebted to her for that. If you are interested in seeing some more of her work, you can check it out on her website!

All fears for my own safety aside, I haven’t done any wildlife tats in awhile so it was pretty fun to do!

I was asked to do some temporary tattoo designs for the Pee-Wee Herman book, and Paul Rubens, a.k.a. Pee-Wee wanted some pretty tough looking designs! It was a really fun project to do and Paul is a really nice and funny person. If you get a chance to se his live show, its definitely worth checking out….it’s hilarious!

I haven’t done a full color half sleeve design in a long time. I have a client that wants ginko leaves in her tattoo, so she inspired this even though she doesn’t want a zombie skull.

When I did the samurai helmet, I wanted it to harmonize with his other tattoos and I think it worked out pretty well.
